Vanilla Bar & Cafe

My ex-colleague brought me here for lunch to show me that are nice cafe around the financial area.

Please do not be fooled by the Japanese Menu and assumed the service that you are going to get is good... I was there for lunch and supper with different colleagues.

Lunch - the EBT (egg, bacon and tomatoes)

Lunch - Pan Fried Salmon with fresh shrimp creme, shitake and sauteed potatoes

Lunch - ordered 'Sticky toffee pudding' and this was served...

The lunch crew is not too bad, although they are busy, they still remember to refill your water. The supper crew is terrible, they do not serve you water and kept asking if you have finished and they want to clear your table and want you to call for bill immediately. We were there at 8.30pm and left within an hour. There was no crowd in the cafe so many empty tables but yet....

Stranger Reunion

This is one of my favourite cafe when I was working nearby. Behind this door, opens another kind of atmosphere.

I will miss my favourite Ice Coffee...

I will miss all the weekend artist capturing the beauty of this area with their paint brush.

Four Leaf Clover

Unknowningly, JUST SIMPLE HAPPINESS is 1 year old. I hope everyone can find their own happiness. Happiness always drop in when you least expected it. I saw this four leaf clover when I was roaming around my old office area deciding where should I go: Highlander Coffee or Stranger Reunion. The four leaf clover is still there because I strongly believe in sharing happiness. Good Luck!
